Coming up on 24th April 2016 is a very good classic car run that is organised by the Midland Automobile Club every two years.
There is a choice of starting locations: at Shelsley Walsh, the Ludlow Food Centre, Gaydon Heritage Museum, or the Cheltenham Chase Hotel. The participating cars then cover 4 different scenic routes, which all converge to finish at Shelsley Walsh, Worcestershire.
The entry fee is £85 per car (2 people) and includes breakfast at your chosen starting location, a road book detailing the scenic route to the finish, a commemorative tour plate, and once you arrive at Shelsley Walsh, an untimed ascent of the famous hillclimb, a photograph of your car on the hill, a tour of the water mill, and a pig roast to the accompaniment of a brass band at the finish.
It is a very enjoyable day out, and M100's are eligible.
