I am unlikely to turn up.
since new year we started doing out of hours work at my job. the extra money couldn't come at a better timing. this work is scheduled only on mondays and thursdays. although i enjoy the trip and banter. I am now saving up for a classic mini.... and the quicker that cash comes in, the sooner ill be on the lookout for another toy.

I'm not going to be there this month, gear cable has finally decided to play up (it's only cracked plastic on the fore/aft adjuster, not completely snapped yet, so should be able to engineer a suitable solution without needing new cables)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

Much as I'd love to contribute to this, I'm going to have to raise a glass from afar - I spend Thursday evenings with my son now.

I can't. He's only 6, I work in Derby so would be re-tracing my steps (twice), and it's over an hour in each direction so it wouldn't be that interesting to him and it would make it too late a night. If I'm going to use up a late night "life", it needs to be on a "big ticket" item that he's going to get a lot of benefit out of - not just me sitting in a pub chatting to mates.

I've got my twins tonight.... Do they allow children (who are taller than their parents) in the pub?
