Yep - free to enter (unless driving on track) - no need to arrive in a Lotus, just drive in, stay as long as you wish, and bugger off again!

that convinced me to turn up... just need to check up where this is, Im on a limited automotive budget, depending on distance the petrol may not be enough.

also, if attending, probably not on the Elan. Its waiting for MOT, and i booked the other one first since i rather drive something that does not leak to work, the elan can wait another month for the warmer days... (that is.. if there will be any left after the current heat wave)

Walsall Arboretum (don't ask me how I know) is 90 miles from Castle Combe circuit (one way). Well signposted once you get close.

And I'm not sure where this heatwave is of which you speak; I'm looking out of my office window at the rain hammering down. Or did you mean Sunday constituted the English Summer?

im definately ref to sunday and well.. based on my experience last year, its the only thing we will get

ill have to count the pennies for this one. im pretty sure this month im going over budget since i need to do 2 mots and tax one car

More importantly, could we have a Moderator with the specific role of reviewing Grammar, there is a particularly depressing worsening of this vital commodity in more recent posts - I hold up Joao's input as an example!!

An excellent sentiment Pete, but a bit unfair to pick on Joao whose first language is not English!!

Folks, sadly I don't think I'm going to make it on Saturday. Pauline is still pretty wobbly after her hip replacement three weeks ago, and I think I'll be needed as house elf. Gutted to be missing it, and hope to see everyone next year if not before.

Well caught Geoff! Not only the best car about to blast passed Martyn's Elise and that Cortina, but the first image I've seen of Ian loosing it at Camp. Quite how he did it that early in the corner is a bit of a mystery - I'll have to get him to talk me through it again. Fortunately no damage (or witnesses 'til now) so just a mild flush to match his sunburn...

Great day, much enjoyed. I was out there for 5 sessions driving and one with Geoff Beale in his racing Sunbeam. Now I've experienced how it should be done I realise just how slow I am!

I did buy the John Gaisford pics of my sessions, but took none myself. I'm sure there's no wider interest in multiple images of the same yellow car on track so best I keep them to myself....well ok then just one.... a less common angle on me and Peter Maeers at full chat somewhere, nodding in unison.
