Running out of places to look for an answer...
Is there such thing as an m100 oil pump gasket or do I have to make my own?
On the (rear) face of the oil pump (to 75% of the block) are the 2 oil pickup/distribution feeds. Bottom one sucks, top one blows. On the pump side, there is what appears to be a gasket seat (pics) but nowhere can I find mention of any kind of gasket.
On disassembly, mine were filled with a black silicone type gasketesque material which was an absolute B*$*4rd to remove. This stuff extended completely around the mating faces of block and pump.
Thoughts?!
