As it appears from an amalgamation of information on here, by PM, email, Facebook etc we are getting the same pitch as last year, and no-one is actually coordinating anything.

As such, I propose to suggest that we say BOLLECKS to the Kentish LECers

(To translate for anyone who doesn't understand my attempt at humor, I mean that Ian - who has done a marvellous job in previous years - may not be in an M100 [but always welcome on the LEC stand, whatever you're in]. Geoff is speaking all cryptically, and hasn't put himself on the list. I have swapped some info with Bibs on Facebook, and currently possess the club banner and gazebo, and will be there for the whole weekend...... but I'm not offering to organise anything, I prefer the chaos that usually follows us around, whereby everything works out well in the end due to the gererosity of items, time, and spirit of those who turn up.)

Dave is right. I am without an M100 and will be on the next stand down (North Kent Lotus Group) so I'll be close enough to hear the insults about being in an older Lotus and close enough (I hope) to join in the LEC banter.

I have traded emails with Geoff, who picked up the role of distributing tickets and I think you have it right - BOLLECKS save the day. That said, he was keeping it quiet, I think.

Obviously I will be there assuming I manage to push the old car down and look forward to catching up with you all.

Do you need help with setting up camp ?
I could plan my trip for after work on Friday instead of Saturday early morning and possibly arrive at 8-ish to give you a hand, in return, obviously, I will be extracting as much of your elan knowledge as possible over the weekend.

but I'm not offering to organise anything, I prefer the chaos that usually follows us around, whereby everything works out well in the end due to the gererosity of items, time, and spirit of those who turn up.)

I will look around for the camping chairs.

My idea is just to throw my tent up near to our pitch and get my head down for the night - nowt posh involved!

Previously, I have enjoyed the facilities at the SELOC campsite (where we stayed last year), but they aren't organising anything anymore. So i'll travel down during the day to Kent. If the weather forecast is poor, I'll divert to my sisters' house near Canterbury - so it's back to the usual chaos theory!!!!

ok, I was wondering if there was some arrangements for our patch of grass needed,(setting up banners or something of that kind) apparently Saturday is just the same as the Sunday arrangements I saw last year, which in that case, I shall be sticking to my Grampa's Guidelines on Camping. (limit of 5 stars) for Friday.

I believe I can speak for everyone when I say your welcome into our patch of grass, we probably can even sort you out some tea.
you also find every enthusiasts group gathered there is very approachable, although when it comes to camera's its best to confirm people are happy to appear in front of one.

Or just play "pour the Radweld" and see if it lasts the weekend...

Although I don't recommend it, one of my previous cars was a long term demo of Radweld and never leaked again. It was a pretty unstressed engine though and the car was very close to worthless.

Good luck with the wet stuff. Don't want you ending up without a serviceable M100 to come over here in.
