Although I don't recommend it, one of my previous cars was a long term demo of Radweld and never leaked again. It was a pretty unstressed engine though and the car was very close to worthless.

Woody, I have your number, and will reply to PM with mine (as Geoff has now 'promoted' me to Chief Ticket Holder).

I will be in attendance from Friday evening until Sunday evening, and in possession of Banner, Gazebo, Tea/Coffee (kettle!) etc.....

If anyone wishes to avail themselves of a cuppa, please do - but if you could bring your own mug it would help (as I only tend to take 2 when i camp anywhere)..... oh, and if someone could grab a bottle of milk on the way in on Sunday it would avoid having black coffee or tea made with yoghurt

Chairs are usually at a bit of a premium, too - so if you want to sit down, you may have to wait for an empty chair, or bring one along.

The 'good old boys' used the white of an egg in the coolant to stop leaks not this newfangled Radweld and Bar's Leak. Might need to buy Organic Free Range to get a proper egg though .. , eggs aren't what they used to be.

As my car (probably, unless I need to go shopping) won't be leaving the site, I shouldn't need to show a ticket every day, so can pass mine on to Dave if he needs it to gain entry on the Sunday...... or will it only allow entry if the system shows that you have exited????? (may have to blag the doorman to say you left on the Saturday but never had the ticket scanned)

It's not that sophisticated Dave. I was driving in and out each day to use the external campsite and there was no check on exiting and with the ticket hanging on the mirror just got waved through in the mornings. I reckon a photocopy would have worked just as well...

I remember having mine scanned when i went in, but can't really remember the whole scheme - didn't think it was particularly difficult to get round it, but who knows? (the gate guys didn't seem to be acting like they were guarding the Crown Jewels, and don't forsee a problem with the system as proposed)

Dave I got this to replace the one I got last year this one only takes 5 mins to put up and take down also I think it takes up less space in your boot so better all round.
