Don't forget, when the owner says he has refused an offer of £2.5k you only have his word for it. He could just be saying that to get you to offer more. I get the slight whiff of bullshit

Some think the market has improved a lot - hardly used, low mileage Elans keep appearing at speculative prices ... I think we all know the problems that arise from lack of use ..

I would have ripped your arm off ...
Have a look on gumtree thread where someone has mentioned that it hasn't been mot'd for many years .. And whilst that may be fine is stored properly Being left open to the elements on damp ground ( see previous bexley pictures) stored outside with a rear screen missing would send alarm bells ringing for me .
As all of the above have said .. and we are politely skirting around the fact it is a shed . scrap it or spend a potential fortune on getting it back on the road .

If it really is a shed you are after then for the money this would be a better buy:
http://www.shedstore.co.uk/garden-sheds ... d-20-by-10and stock it out with some items from here:
http://www.strictlymancave.comThen invite us all round to drink your beer.

My wife's just divorced me because I wouldn't open the car door for her!
To be fair I panicked and swam straight for the surface.

I know its not an M100 but its an old Elan. Look at the state its in and with no chassis or engine.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222265685253? ... EBIDX%3AITYou could get a good M100 for that money and the auction still has 3 days to go.

Don't forget " so the car has very good service history" which was not present whilst the car was for sale in Bexley . I wonder when the date of the last stamps is.
If you were a betting man Rambo what do you think the odds of this selling at over £2500 and then being relisted due to time waster(s) ..

That one was up my way Clemo but I've never seen it in and about Embra in all my M100 days (~14+ years] I would've checked it out for you if you'd given me the nod

I emailed the previous shed owner ( when it was in bexley) with a view to buying it as a donor for the tub and rear lights to the cobble it together with Simons rear ended s2 ...
Shed owner never replied .
i fear this will become parts .. and to be fair sheds help us keep ours on the road . The only hope i could see for this is someone buys the windscreen BCN mentioned and tried to put it back on the road ... on the gumtree thread someone mentioned it has been off the road for 7 years , so a fair bit of work for someone .
But hey we have seen it done .
Sold for £2761

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Looks like the suspension camber needs adjustment.
