I'd love to see the wheel alignment test results

Looks like the geometry is way out. I don't think it will handle the corners as well as Peter Stevens intended

And where's the turbo ? No mention in the advert

Engine photo shows it's a NA so no turbo, but it is a 2.0 litre so maybe not needed ..
(At least it doesn't say "upgraded breaks" like a recent Autotrader ad

)

Mark, I was just making a supercilious remark as the sellers states "will need toeing" ie toe in rather than towing but looking at pictures I think you're right.

Also a quick look at the dash photo shows a digital clock where the boost gauge would be: so I agree it's a N/A.
Nickydee........I got your toe in/out//towing: don't worry you're not alone with a warped sense of humour!

From one cynic to another Nick, I understood what you meant
I wouldn't even like to drive that car into the garage or onto a recovery truck. Looks like the suspension is well shot

I hadn't realised it was officially an N/A though. I just thought someone had removed the turbo and EBayed it
I definitely need a trip to Specsavers

It's not one I've ever seen before - and I'm pretty sure i'd have remembered the numberplate, soft top and heat shields.....
..... not my cup of tea, but it looks presentable in the pictures - obviously had some money spent on it. Interior looks good nick.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Don't like an advert that says mileage is "132" when in it had 133,554 miles at the MOT on 6th September 2016... doesn't take a lot of effort to put the correct figures in, with a 'k' if required.
Test date 6 September 2016
Expiry date 5 September 2017
Test Result Pass
Odometer reading 133,554 miles
MOT test number 4252 4884 6975

Er, nope - - - the advert clearly says it's a 1990 one

(sorry!)
.... but to be more sensible, it not an advert or car I'm familiar with.
