Sorry to hear that, Geoff. I trust the Southmead mechanics have experience of repairs to classic chassis and you'll be fully MoT'd and ready to go soon :D

Geoff has a Lilo and inflatable kayak at his villa in Spain but I'm not sure if they're suitable

Whereabouts are you located in Canada ? If it helps, I could get my sister to take them back over to Vancouver island, BC when she comes over in Sept and distribute/post from there

But, if you're needing them quicker......

PS Geoff - how easy are these things to fix ? Could a Luddite numpty like me do it easily ? f so, I might be tapping you on the back at CC for a few sets

Mark, they are the sort of thing which can be fitted by anyone with a couple of screwdrivers (even in a dusty car park at a campsite or racetrack  ) assuming that the current ones ain't rusted solid - but if they are you just need a cordless drill and maybe a spanner to remove the pods....... approx half hour job.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

I can sense a headlight fastener and springs workshop coming on. On the Black Beast :burnout:

Maybe we could charge a fee for watching you do it Dave and all proceeds go into the kitty

I dare say that I'll have the tools required with me - so if Smiffy brings the parts, and the weather is condusive, we only need the time.

Hi, I'm located near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. That said I don't think that shipping cost would be that high if they aren't shipped from Canada. I really appreciate your offer tho but would consider shipping quicker if possible.

Thanks,
