Sunday is good for me, next we need to decide where and when to meet! Any time is good for me, I'm only 5 or 6 miles away, it's probably best if those travelling some distance decide the time (it's got to be 50 miles from Swindon for you Kathryn)!

Did we want to meet up for coffee first, or we can get food and drink when we get in?

Sundays good. I'll probably grab a coffee and bacon sandwich at the Den mentioned earlier in the thread (http://www.jonthorners.co.uk/about-us/the-den). Its open from 9.30am so we could meet there and leave by 10am or 10.30am depending on how far people have to come. If it was 10am would that be too early for people?

Kathryn, providing its as bright and sunny on the day as it is now what time would suit you or should we meet you inside as you seem to have the farthest to come?

Why whenever I look at Google Maps, not to find out not how to get somewhere, but how long it will take, does it give me three routes, none of which are the way I'd actually go??

Anyway I reckon about 1hr 45 mins. I'd say 10.30, but whatever suits everyone else. I'm not the earliest riser at the best of times!

Kathryn, my car is 1990 so I'm covered so you can use my £2 off voucher that came with my car insurance renewal that allows you to get in for £8 (normal gate price on the day is £10).
I always knew S2's were more expensive to run

Yes, they did that last time - I bought tickets in advance only to find it would have been cheaper still when I got there! I'd forgotten that!!

What happens is they direct classics one way and non-classics the other. Classics pay as they drive in, non-classic drivers have to pay for a ticket on the door as they walk in. I hope they see sense and don't impose a 25 year rule for the classic car park when the car is obviously interesting. And in theory if they let you into the classic car park you may only pay a fiver irrespective of the age of the car. And lets face it, there's a difference between turning up in '95 Lotus Elan and a '95 Ford Fiesta, for example. (Not that there's anything wrong with a '95 Ford Fiesta, of course. Actually, maybe there is)

Though on the other hand it might be safer to get an advance ticket if you car is less than 25, just in case!

And I'll probably have my father with me, so I'll have to get him an advance ticket as passengers don't get in for a fiver!

I quite like that actually and I'm not really a fan of private plates. But I've already got J700 TUS on retention! Must get round to advertising it! (or putting it back on the car for next Sunday!)

Yes it was here too! Quite a shock when I drew back the curtains earlier!

Though it wasn't on the roads, and it's pretty much all gone now. There isn't any more forecast, and Monday looks really nice!

I may have the roof up tomorrow, I've got a cold!!

Roof up as far the The Den then top down to the Show Ground (only 2.5miles). Unless there is catastrophic weather between now and then I'll see whoever can make it at The Den at 9.30 onwards. Looks like the weather will be dry but cold. Cheers,

It snowed here too, or more to the point there were a few white bits blowing about! Just walked home from work and it's flipping cold but not freezing and is meant to stay much the same through tonight and tomorrow.
I was going to leave about 8, so should get there between 9.30 and 10 if that's ok.
Oh, and is anyone any good at wastegate wiggling?

I know where the wastegate is, but my hands maybe too cold or your turbo too hot! If I remember I'll bring some pliers.
