If you are referring to IB10 then he sold it to the person he got it off after doing a partial renovation.

There is (unless it's been written off) a 'P" reg BRG SE (and I do mean an SE, not an S2) kicking about somewhere.

A "P" reg SE on Open Loop will be a nightmare to get through an MOT on emissions. MOT test will expect a Cat and test to much lower levels from 'first use after 1st Aug 95', which was start of N reg. Probably need converting to Closed Loop.

Hi Guys
I still own it as the original owner is struggling to sell his car so ended up in a chain really.

It is running on a closed loop system as was part of the development work, it is slightly different to the S2 set up as running on a preproduction loom. It passed its MOT very recently and last years with no problem.

I would love to keep this car but tied up restoring a 1960 mini and my Dry Sump Esprit Turbo, ideally I would have let the Esprit go and kept IB10 but the Esprit needs too much doing. Plan was to move house this year and have a bigger garage but delayed for a while due to schooling so one has to go.

This will be a great Elan for someone, was planning to put an ad on LEC as well.

Dave :)

If anyone is interested in this car let me know as I live in Malvern where it is located. I'd be happy to pop along and view. Also it's a classified ad, so not a private sale.

Missing rear screen ? WTF ?? Beats me why people don't get these things fixed prior to sale. I'm sure a potential sale would go much quicker and easier :?

Massive 18" alloys

One for the Fredjohn stable ?

Classified ads can be private sales, I'd have thought more likely to be one?

This is the one that was sat in a front garden down in Bexley with a broken windscreen and no MOT . It had no rear screen back then and a huge lotus sticker on the bumper .
Good to see its back on the road though .
