Glove box lock fell out.......

Whilst checking if the glove box key worked the lock promptly fell out. The glove box appears to be locked and I don't know if anything is in it.

Is there a way of opening it - maybe with a screwdriver or coat hanger or something ?

I appear to have the lock, a small pin and a small spring........

I've managed to get into it and put it all back together.

Look in the back of your car Handbook and it will tell you what the glovebox key number is. Mine tells me but my glovebox catch hasn't got a keyhole..
