I sent you a PM with the price: $45.00 + $20.00 postage - If the 5 people actually buy. If not, the price is $45.00 + $100.00 divided by the number of buyers. Tax, Duty and VAT is always assessed when it gets into the UK, so, again, that amount would be divided by the actual number of buyers.

I sent everyone the PM. I know Clemo and Saltire are also in, so it is just up to B_Land to chime in.

Simon, I did find a 5th set, so you are covered regardless.

I will send everyone a PM or email with the final prices and my PayPal ID once I hear from Bruce.

Somehow, the setting got switched from yes to no for PMs. It is fixed now, but I get way too many PMs and my 200 PM limit fills up every few weeks and then PMs get held up without me knowing the quota is exceeded again.
Best to send me an email as I have unlimited storage and bandwidth.

Mudflaps despatched from North Carolina today. I will advise participants as soon as I hear about duty and VAT, and work out the split between the 5 of us. Then we'll agree how to distribute.

Back in 2007 a group buy was organised to manufacture some specifically for our cars. they were laser cut from some sort of rubber material, and are about 3 or 4 mm thick. Simply bonded onto the inner lip of the wheelarch and extremely 'stealthy'. I have them on my car and they are not at all noticable - probably because of the colour and small external profile.

I believe that they were only ever made the once, but I presume that the drawings for them must be about somewhere. (If not, I still have a set in the garage which I never got round to fitting, so a set of templates could be made if someone had the time/skills/inclination) - before anyone asks, they are NOT for sale :D

See this thread

But glad that the patterns still exist, and the desire to get some made up :smt023

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually.....

Just so the group DOESN'T feel ripped off, the Lotus version flaps are not just a flat piece of rubber to screw on your wing.

They are molded, reinforced and excessively over-engineered. They also come with the installation hardware and instructions as to where to place them and how to install them.
They have spacers molded in so you are not squeezing the rubber and a metal plate to better support them.

Visible side:
Front Flap -front.jpg

Hidden Against the Wing) side:
Front Flap -rear.jpg

Bottom Line: You gets what you pays for!

Extra note: The front and rear kits have the same flaps inside, but they have different mounting kits.

If anyone wants to buy the rear kits I have to put on their front wings, the FLAPS will fit the front but the install kit will not work for the fronts.

I can send a picture of the install kit parts with the flaps as well as a copy of the front installation instructions.

I was looking at that thread, they look a bit small and flimsy and I wondered how effective they really were. I'll stick with the ones Lotus intended. I'd always rather get original parts where possible. :D
