What is this trim called, and how to replace?

I haven't been successful with searches because I don't know what to call this trim piece on the top of the door panels. Both sides are warped and bringing down the look of the interior, so I would like to replace them with new originals, or maybe a better alternative if you know one?

It is called Inner Door Trim Top Strip B100B0845F & B100B0846F (right & left hand side).

Your picture doesn't actually look too bad, they are very flexible so don't hold a rigid profile very well and may get just as good results by fettling with the fit of your originals. If you do want to go with new parts they are under £10 each in the UK

You're right it doesn't look too bad in the pics, but it looks much worse in person and in some sections it has split, so I will add those to my order from SJ's.

The S1/SE version A100B0845F and A100B0846F are no longer available.

The S2 versions B100B0845F and B100B0846F are now offered from places like SJs since they also went obsolete at Lotus in December of 2015 for the Left side and December 2016 for the Right side.

Apologies I didn't realise that there was a difference between the S1 & S2, it doesn't mention anything on the SJ website

There is no real logic about M100 part numbers but the first version usually has a "A" prefix and subsequent versions go higher in the alphabet. Sometimes, the prefix changes because a new company started manufacture and other times, it is because a change in design was started.

The S2 door trim was slightly different from the SE/S1/NA so that is why it has a "B" prefix.

Not having an S2 available in the US to understand the changes, the UK owners are very helpful when they mention the differences.

I replaced the inner door trim this weekend. It's an easy job. Fixing all the screw ups by some previous mechanic that botched the mounting of the door panel was a lot more work than replacing this rubber trim, but the door panels all look like new now.

The replacement trim from SJs is much better than what was on my car. My car had some hard, thin plastic type of trim that wasn't flexible, and I am sure it didn't look good even when it was brand new. Here's the trick with SJs, though. Order 2 of the right hand door trims. Do not order the left hand. The left hand trim is some generic trim with no holes drilled, and it's pasty and doesn't match the nice factory-looking, precut version of the right trim. I just used an xacto knife to notch the right hand trim for the door lock area, and flipped it around and mounted it on the left door.

Yes, the trim is slightly shorter by maybe a 1/3", but it's unnoticeable.
