I think you are giving him more credit than he is due around the organisational skills required to plan for this approach!

He is always on the verge of just sending, waiting on packaging, waiting on courier etc.

Those of us from the original group buy who paid up front (years in advance as it turns out) funded the tooling and production probably for his whole initial run allowing him to make a profit on the unreserved wishbones. It is disgusting that it turns out there are people from the group buy still waiting I was totally frustrated with the seller and it appears I was one of the lucky ones and only obtained one of the first sets by constantly badgering him, turning up at his unit etc.

I have said previously it is a shame it has turned out this way because Jeemy could have been a real asset to this forum as the wishbones are extremely good quality

Sorry man, but who are you exactly? You're not George? You didn't turn up at my "unit" - nobody has apart from George. The people who paid in advance were 7 people @ £500 each or so, for a £25k production run. Hardly funding my lavish lifestyle.

I dont do bitch fighting on the internet however as you seem to be questioning my honesty I will reply to your comments:-

Who am I? - if you cannot work that out from the extensive list of 7 people that paid in advance I will leave that with you to ponder on as one of the mysteries of the universe

I think you will find I did turn up at your unit in Fenton Barns as you were failing to respond to emails, phone calls, PM's etc. I even obtained and tried other contact details after posting on here. The nice lady in the unit next door told me you hadnt been around for a while and delivery drivers were also trying to deliver stuff to you. She thought you were trying to get another workshop up & running at the time and she said if she did happen to see you she would let you know I had been trying to contact you!

You will also find posts on here from me being very complimentary around the quality of the wishbones having been one of the first to fit them, I have also responded to other threads on here that I did NOT think that you were dishonest in any way and suggested you were just poorly organised, your post above would tend to support this belief.

I do hope your personal situation gets better and you succeed in improving your communication and organisational skills as I have previously stated - you COULD be a big asset in keeping these special cars on the road!

I'm sorry for the situation with your wife, thats a hard one to work through.
If I lived closer I'd offer to swing by a couple of weekends and do what I could to help you get your head above water.

From my LEC dealings - I think most people here are extremely supportive and helpful. It takes 15 minutes max to drop in everyday and update where you are, with sending things out. No more excuses, people are asking for simple communication is all. If you can do that, a lot of the drama will fade away and you'll have less friction in your life.

You have my sympathy for your home situation, but...

I have dealt with several people who run their businesses as you do and it makes me angry! - Just think for a moment the agro you are causing, we each have our difficulties it's called life! You are not making anyone else's easier.

Customers ! Who would have them? Unfortunately it is customers who put food on the table. I'm not sure why any of them should need to call you - It appears that in fact you should be calling them. Stop blaming other people
A correction - You put your number on in your signature because nobody could get hold of you previously, they still can't - I don't buy stuff from you because of that.
If you have got £25k of wishbones why can't you deliver 3 sets.
BSI certifying wishbones doesn't make sense....
You should have spent your time sending people things that they have paid for rather than writing your lengthy outburst which is frankly a discredit to you.

So how about doing something to fix it - You could for example set up a thread for "Things that Jeemy Needs to deliver or fix" then you could tick them off and we could all see that it is more than words.

I am another person from the initial run who had paid for these in full and has been trying via email to raise Jeemy in person for a long while. Last email from him said that mine were ready and were going to be sent by Ross or Duncan. That was nearly six months ago...

I know I have not been on in some time- came back in to search for any answers here given the lack of communication/updates.

+44 prefix but the leading 0 should also be deleted so ends up as +447391295146...

To call from the US you need to dial 011 (international) followed by 44 (UK) followed by the phone number starting with the "7" which identifies it is a mobile number. The 0 gets dropped. So, from the US, dial 011447391295146.

Well...just after I posted my last list of excuses, the worst happened. I am not allowed legally to say whats happened to us but short story is, my family has been decimated.

Long story is, I got back to work Monday. I don't want to invite more flak, but I have to be honest; I've not even had money for a car to drive me to the container, to get the parts. My wife is now permanently in bed, and I now have an extra child to look after.

The good news is, I am working out ways to get things sorted. Many people will be cross with me but I hope within the next 2 weeks to have EVERYTHING sorted.

Matt & Dave & Fred/Adrian are awaiting wishbones which I simply need to fit bushings to and send out. I no longer have a business partner to help me, but I hope to get this done in the next 24-48 hours, when I will be getting help from the Aps who are taking the kids for the weekend so I can do some work.

I think I have a mirror to send out to Canada, and then we will need to get onto the hubs. I'm not going to make excuses for the situation. I will just say the same as ever.

I will never, never let anybody down permanently. I know I've let people down in the short-, mid-, long-term, however you view these things. But I will not walk away from my responsibilities, the worst already happened, and so I think it can only get better from here on in.

You guys were always very kind to me and I deserve all the flak I am getting. No excuses, I will just get it sorted.

But do bear in mind there is NO reception here. I carry 3 phones, I try to divert stuff, but when I am under a car, you won't get me. I have an answering service. Best bet is a text to that number ending 146, or WhatsApp. I really hope to get comms sorted soon.

Any luck, Dave? How about Fred/Adrian? Wondering if I am the only one still waiting?

I have received several ‘they are on the way this week’ emails with no follow up or shipment over the years and that appears to be continuing.. I will always have empathy for personal situations- these are only cars and insignificant compared to loved ones. And I want to support people who care so much as to create parts to further the life of our vehicles - not many people take on those monumental tasks and it is important to support those who do the heavy lifting for us to enjoy these cars. So I have been patient. But there is a limit to patience. After getting burned once before by a member here I have a bit less trust than I used to; and the continual delays has had me nervous for quite some time.

Calling long distance repeatedly to a place where Jeemy has said that he has no service doesn’t make much sense. Sending emails every six then three then monthly with no reply is frustrating. I have even tried to coordinate shipping with another member as a way to assist in getting these to me so there wouldn’t be any shipping costs to Jeemy as a way to remove any obstacle I can. But those offers have gone unanswered.

Jamie: WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET THIS ON THE WAY TO ME AFTER FOUR YEARS? If it is just packaging in a box and sending them off- that should be able to be done TODAY.

I have tried to intercede via telephone with many promises unfulfilled. I offered to pay to get them to my regular shipper (courier) and have them come to me in my upcoming order, but he keeps refusing saying he can do it cheaper but just needs the funds. I can't justify sending him money only to have him use it for something else (lessons learned from the past).

Unfortunately, it is now up to someone close by to go and collect the wishbones and once they have been collected, we all can work on a way to get them to their proper owners.

How about it? Can someone organize a list of missing product and the arrange a "hands on" collection?

If this was a 15 quid investment, then I would write it off, but... we are talking a fair amount of dosh and some cars are sitting waiting to be roadworthy again.

It is a bit of a problem for a US owner to arrange flights, car rental just to go and pick up what they are rightfully owed. I am NOT asking for vigilantes or any harm to happen to anyone, but someone from the COUNTRY would be better able to collect the goods. I would be willing to arrange a single courier collection for the US owners from the kind soul that can organize the rescue and I am sure anyone from other locations would be willing to arrange shipment as needed.

Please, would someone from Scotland or the UK step up and help and then ban the seller! he is no better than "He Who Should Not Be Named" and you all know what happened to the legal approach to recover the funds paid. Who get's cheated in the future should become their own problems as this is a widely known problem, but those that bought from a seller that was active in LEC with the expectation of actually getting what they ordered only to find out it would turn out to be a fraudulent transaction (I know that LEC does not vette or guarantee anyone that sells product on LEC, but sometimes it is necessary for members more local to help those that are an ocean away.

I had to physically "visit" Bob B. to get my never shipped parts but i was luck that I had another trip already planned and just added the collection to the itinerary.

Dave (dapinky), You have helped others in the past. Can you look into this? There has to be a way to sort it without flying to the UK and then collecting items in person.

To clarify my position:

I do not wish to see any trouble or injury come to Jeemy over this. He has cause injury to those that have paid him and not fulfilled the orders.

Jeemy claims the wishbones are ready to ship but he can't afford to do that. This is not hearsay, I spoke with him via phone and emails and he merely wanted me to send him money instead of shipping labels for the couriers.

I believe his intent was good and life got in the middle of it all. Someone will have to "catch" him (he is rarely easy to reach) and collect ALL and any parts paid for by LEC members (and anyone else that we can identify) and then once the goods are in safe hands, arrangements will need to be made to ship them on to the rightful owners. This will MOST LIKELY require some more money from the buyers since Jeemy doesn't have it to cover shipping. I can negotiate a reasonable cost via my regular couriers and handle the paperwork. If I could physically get there, I would go myself, but I am no longer in decent enough health to go to the local store than to the UK and then on to Scotland. After my upcoming prostate and spins surgeries, I may be able to travel again and I will get the the UK at least one more time, but I am talking well into the new year and the LEC buyers deserve better than that.

Please, somebody step up and close this chapter. THANK YOU

It is a long way for me to go (400m each way) for something I have no personal interest in obtaining, but maybe someone closer could help? Sorry to sound negative, but it's hard for me to justify a 2 day (minimum) drive, spending £150 on fuel, with no guarantee that I'll even get to see him, or collect the parts....

Isn't there anyone closer to Jeemy? Is there any other solution possible except writing off the investments (AND letting him continue to post on LEC)?

If a proper "seek and rescue" could be arranged, reasonable costs could/would be reimbursed.

I have driven significantly further than that to collect a lot of my cars and parts, but then, I used to drive back home several times a year 700 miles each way, but there was "something in it for me" when I did it. My wife still does the trip 2x every year to see her family.

This has to stop and people need to be made whole.

I fully understand LEC never said they would be responsible for sales on LEC and the majority of trades I have seen have been fantastic and above board. There have only been TWO sellers that have taken advantage of our faith and the other also got away with a lot of dosh with nothing but bad feelings all around.

I guess a REALLY BIG QUESTION is HOW MANY people have paid Jeemy (specialistvehiclesolutions) for goods and never received them?

If their orders could be filled, what would it be worth to finally get the goods versus abandoning their investment and going elsewhere?

HOW does anyone actually get in physical touch with Jamie? Does ANYONE have any ideas or suggestions on how to solve this to most everyone's satisfaction?

I don't suggest a lynch mob or any kind of retribution, JUST get everything owed into a pile and get it collected and then distributed to the rightful owners.

I offered to have Matt's wishbones picked up and shifted to Norfolk to be included in my current shipment, but Jamie kept finding excuses why he couldn't have them boxed and waiting for the courier. He ONLY want more money! I doubted he would have shipped anything if I had sent him anything, so the negotiations ceased.

Definitely miles - I now live in the far South-West of Wales, and nowt is very close! (8 1/2 hours driving, according to Google Maps, and that's in a car, not a van).

this is the biggest part of the problem in my eyes, from previous replies i gather that even people who live close by have had a lot of dificulty to get their parts and had to attemtp collection multiple times.

now with that in mind.
I am planning a trip to Fife in the near-ish future for something completely unrelated to this.
I am willing to make a small deviation to make an attempt at contacting and retrieving parts (provided by then something is organised and enough details are gathered to make the detour worth a shot), although this would be a 1 off situation and i honestly think the chanses of success on a saturday are close to zero.
