Side to Side Hood adjustment?

I have a problem where the left rear of the hood rubs on the Hood Stowage Lid when raising or lowering the roof.
The hood material has begun to fray along the lower edge.

The manuals don't show any left to right adjustment for the hood, just forwards/backwards and up/down, so I've tried:

Loosening the Stowage Lid hinge bolts to edge it to the left. It didn't move very far, but looks central in relation to the rear wings.
A bit of brute force and ignorance - trying to bend the hood frame towards the right of the car. - It didn't budge.

So is there an adjustment I've missed, or will I have to get a bigger hammer?

When I first got my car I found the hood frame was loose on it's mountings which caused the
hood to move around which in turn caused the hood to start to eat into the stowage lid
For me it was just a case of tightening the hood.
The trouble is once the hood starts to wear it will eat the lid if your not careful.

Found it!

The 2 screws that hold the rear part of the frame to the pivoting steel bar had worked loose.
Had to peel back the hood to loc-tite and tighten the screws, then stick it all back together with contact adhesive.

I just need to tidy up the frayed edge of the hood now - any ideas?
