Apologies fellas, my mind been busy with a recent Job Interview i had and ended up forgetting this celebration. When i got to my phone and saw the reminder was already past 10PM, so a bit too late to make an appearance.

Set your reminders for 6hrs in advance rather than 20mins!!!

You missed a good evening: food was good and company was great: Martin, Sue, Grace and I had a lovely time. Sadly Pete had dropped out earlier due to illness, so the four of us had to make the best of it!

Plenty of enlightening conversation: after discussing Star Wars, films in general, sculpture, and serious illness we turned to more cheerful topics like the Ashes! Ah maybe not.

my elan's head gasket is still waiting for sunnier days, and my celica CV joint is being replaced today by the garage (i hope) so it all depends if they manage to complete the job or not. im currently driving the 4x4 to work... at 16-20 mpg im sticking exclusively to essential trips

yup, has to be febuary. i have a cv joint fixed, but aparently the car developed a parasitic drain over the past 2 days when was at the garage (which im pretty worried about) so i couldnt pick it up...

good news from here. my Celica is back on the road with new shocks, and springs, and 2 arms in one side. plus a oil valve thingy and cv joint....

the elan is still waiting for sunny days to get the head gasket sorted... but if anyone wants to lend a double garage for 2-4 weeks i may be able to achieve the same goal without depending on weather factors
