Grille mesh colour

Are you looking for suggestions or asking what they were like originally?
I believe they were black, but maybe even unpainted. Black would have got stonechipped to reveal the unpainted aluminium & unpainted would have got dirty, being difficult the clean properly.
I think may will be body colour after a respray which gave the owners a choice of whether to have them masked or not.
GUK's are gold to fit in with the JPS theme of the car, which I think looks rather good.

Interested in originality. Looking at old brochures, I think black is correct.

Mine is black also though I'm thinking of using plastidip to temporarily change the color.

Looked good in body colour (red), but now painted black as original. Wow, it makes the car.
