Had a great time at the show also but sadly didn't meet up with the rest of you.

Signal issues meant I was waiting at the gate Friday, where I saw Rambo drive out, for my tickets. By time was set up the rain started!

Shame the Sauter did well in practice but Race 1 Saturday came out with ignition failure - new part. So re-did timing and fitted new part that promptly failed again on Sunday! New parts: useless. A superb turnout of over 100 Formula Juniors for their Diamond Jubilee! Did anyone see the Connaught bus near the FJ pits?

Great classic F1 race too with 21 cars! All in, the show was too big and exciting as usual to take it all in on one day. Shame I had to go Saturday evening.

Already looking forward to next year!

Hi Stef - I too saw The Snotter on Saturday and Sunday too. I hung around the Connaught bus looking for a brew or a few sherbets but no signs of you. Spent a lot more time in the National pits this year where I could see all the pit teams at work then watch on the big screen or nip up to the Lotus display at Copse corner

Thoroughly enjoyed the w/e, apart frrom the rain on Fri. evening. I think that's my 8th consecutive year

No, Her Yellowness is resting elsewhere at the mo as I get some garage improvements completed...although on the seals front Mrs Burble was distinctly underwhelmed at me insisting on checking out that aspect of every M100 I saw...some sort of weird compulsion I seemed to have picked up from somewhere....

I wondered how it got there too, maybe to do with a change of parking plan? Anyway, I was most impressed how the Lotus clubs got that prime location - IIRC correctly its been a Jag spot for at least the last two years....

Nah. Scott turned up pished after the McLaren wanker had drunk me and Muley out of red wine He then started getting slightly abusive and a right pain in the arse. When Scott gave him some facts about McLaren it was like a red rag to an (orange) bull and he started turning on Scott

I never thought my evening would be spoilt by a noisy McLaren
