Rear Lights

I've got odd back lights, an original N/S unit and an O/S unit from an Alpine A610. I've had no luck obtaining another of either to make a matching set so I'm going to sell them both and go for a round rear light conversion.

The original one is complete and has the clear cover, on a scale of 1 to 10 it's a solid 7, maybe a low 8. The A610 one is as new.

Feel free to contact me with any silly offers, I'm fully aware of their value so no bargains I'm afraid. Failing that they're going on ebay.

The bit about the odd lights yes but that was looking to buy one or the other. Now I've decided to sell due to having no luck. So technically no. Thought someone here might be in a similar situation and want mine. Appears I've got your back up which was never my intention. Ebay it is then.

Oh ok fair enough. No I had intended to buy one or the other to make a matching set. It's now become very apparent that I actually have more chance of attending an aliens tea party with Elvis and Lord Lucan than finding a good example of either lamp. So regrettably I'm going to sell mine and go for the round rear lights instead. My previous posts had been attempts to buy rather than sell really.

I have 1 A610 rear light, not sure which side it is. I may have an interest in yours, but not for a silly price. I paid £120 for the one I have, and it was new. If your looking for DVB asking prices on eBay here, your probably going to be disappointed.

I'd recommend you get hold of the full kit for the round rears before you sell the ones you have.

I've been trying to convert mine over to the round rears for almost a year. I have the Elise lights and harnesses ready to fit. Still trying to get hold of the light pods! The guy that makes them is very busy. Luckily for me there is nothing wrong with my original lights.

My ideal outcome would be to find a good A610 ns lamp. If this is what you have I'd be more than happy to buy yours or px/swap for my elan one. I prefer the look of the A610 lamps.

If there is no real difference tint them to make them look symmetrical.

I did that with mine and it looks good (IMO)

Tried to upload a picture but file too big and I’m useless with things like this but my car was recently on eBay so you may have seen it

There is an M100 on ebay being broken at present: item no. 312211305710.

If you look at the picture it has the replacement light surround fitted, with 2 holes for presumably Elise lights. When I asked him about it's price, he replied that he made them....at £120. Whether this is the full width or just one side is unclear though.

Located in Burnley Lancs, with ebay name of margaret_65.

It looks as if he has more than one M100 being broken.

Anyone we know?

If there is no real difference tint them to make them look symmetrical.

They are significantly different, totally different lamps unfortunately.

It is the supplier on ebay that I am going to get the rear panel from, I have already been in contact with them.

The rear panel on ebay is an early copy of one of ChrisP's molds.

Chris's later pods or rear panels are fer better than this one.

I did consider it as an option at one point, but don't like it. If I had no other option, then maybe it would be considered.

I seem to remember there was a thread running about this .... the lights are trailer lights not the Elise lights so require a not so nice fog light .

Do you know what the issue was with them? As long as they are not a foot too narrow or too wide I'm not too bothered. I've got plenty bodywork experience so overall finish isn't a huge concern.

I've looked at the premium hella lamps, they are not cheap but good quality, no need for an external fog light and certainly prettier than eBay trailer lights.
