I'm removing myself from the list as I've sourced tickets from elsewhere - allowing another M100 to attend.
I'll look in on you lot as I've only met a few fellow LECcers so far.

1. Fredjohn (in Evora and ticket from Lotus70 now confirmed by email)
2. Dapinky
3. Alan E
4. Trevor B
5. John W (I have confirmation of a ticket from Lotus70, so do not need one of the LEC allocation)

7. Steve A [ticket from Lotus70]confirmed email

10. Chris P
11. Ken S [ticket from Lotus70 - confirmed, no need for LEC ticket]

14. Dave Eds
15. BigErch (in an Evora - have confirmation of a ticket from Lotus70, so do not need one of the LEC allocation)

17. El abuelo (Geoff)
18. chris.t (Holiday Inn Norwich - next to knocking shop) - ticket from CL

An update on the ticket situation for LEC.

I have had contact with Bibs via TLF and he has informed me that we will be getting our ticket allocation and a dedicated space.
He is busy sorting this out with Lotus and will be confirming everything in due course and hopes to be sending out the tickets in
a couple of weeks. Once I have all the information then we (Dave Pinky) can liaise and sort out how the tickets can be distributed.

:) :)

For those who are still looking to book accomodation, I've updated the list to show (where known) the places that others are staying at (so you know where to avoid :D ). I would expect that some of the many places in the area will be fully booked due to the numbers attending (7500 people/tickets), but there is still plenty of choice on Booking.com and others.

As far as we know, the 'best' place to stay is Dunston hall Hotel (Gareth 'Elanman' is staying there on the Friday - but he isn't on the list as he is now 'Evoraman' ) - I say 'best' not because of the standard of hotel (which is excellent, by the way), but because of its location and it is used as the venue for the Friday evening party. Also, it is the start point of the TLF convoy to Hethel on the Saturday morning.

Anyone looking for accomodation be aware that according to Kimbers, you are really looking to be south of Norwich, not North (airport side) due to getting around - and if you are going to Dunston on the Friday, may need to consider taxi prices, and look at sharing where possible (or not drinking heavily!).

There are a few threads on various subjects on TLF.com, and I would suggest that anyone who needs more detailed information have a look there, or simply ask, and I'll see what I can help with.

1. Fredjohn (in Evora and ticket from Lotus70 now confirmed by email) - staying at Mangreen Country House Fri & Sat night
2. Dapinky - staying at Mangreen Country House Fri & Sat night
3. Alan E - staying at Mangreen Country House Fri & Sat night
4. Trevor B
5. John W (I have confirmation of a ticket from Lotus70, so do not need one of the LEC allocation)

10. Chris P
11. Ken S [ticket from Lotus70 - confirmed, no need for LEC ticket]
12. Clemo - staying at Holiday Inn Fri, Mangreen Country House Sat night
13. Burble (Chris A)
14. Dave Eds
15. BigErch (in an Evora - have confirmation of a ticket from Lotus70, so do not need one of the LEC allocation)

Not wishing to clog up a single thread, I shall probably start some new bits as time goes on to keep it all a bit easier to navigate - but for now, I'm just keeping it all together in one place, so it may be a bit messy to find your way around the info on here - I appologise for that, but until information is 'set in stone' I don't see much advantage in having multiple threads/posts to search through. As and when things are 'sorted' we can try to be a bit more organised. (Like Bibs is on TLF   ).

Anyone else want to join a drive from the West to the event on the Friday????

Kathryn, I don't think you'll have to much to worry about at the George.
Also in a good location and you stay on the A11 until you see the hotel sign. (literally)
Walking distance of the centre of Norwich and easy route back to Hethel.

Yes, I’m sure it’s fine. It’s been recently refurbished too. It just seemed cheap for a Best Western - less than all the Travelodge / Holiday / Premier Inns I looked at (except the one by the airport). Glad it’s easy to find, sounds like even I can’t miss it!

I thought I was likely to be in south of France at end of September but it now seems unlikely so I've added myself to the list that I've amended to remove those who have declared they have tickets from other sources..

These are the LEC M100's:

1. Dapinky - staying at Mangreen Country House Fri & Sat night
2. Alan E - staying at Mangreen Country House Fri & Sat night
3. Trevor B staying at Dunston Hall Friday night only
4. Kathryn - Staying Fri + Sat night at the Best Western George Hotel -suspiciously cheap!?
5. Rice crispy
7. Chris P
8. Clemo - staying at Holiday Inn Fri, Mangreen Country House Sat night
9. Burble (Chris A)
10. Dave Eds
11. Giniw just maybe, not sure yet so it's a low priority one! (Elan)
12. El abuelo (Geoff)
13. uk08462
14. SimonW
15. Enright - on condition of having a running Elan available in time.
16. Nick & Kim (nicowalker1)
17. Tuga2112 (not 100% sure if i can attend, house purchase completion may happen on that same weekend. unfortunately i wont be able to know for sure until a lot later)
18. LFM - Phil. (I attend meets at the Bird in Hand so Hethel is within easy travelling distance)*
19.
20.

* Please note: I live 40 miles from Hethel and have a large back lawn. Anybody who can't find accommodation, decides to come at the last minute, or is strapped for cash is welcome to pitch a tent on my back lawn. Toilet & shower in the house, along with tea & coffee in the kitchen and I might even stretch to providing beer and wine.... oh -- also have a gas BBQ if you want to cook anything. (Location is at IP7 6QN.)

So can we have another list that captures who’s all going and where they’re staying, for general information and to aid meeting up? I found the list useful.

 :agree:  Couldn't agree more... If we are talking about 20 LEC spaces why include those 'renegades' from the LEC M100 pitch so LEC members cannot see how many spaces are left for them. I couldn't see so I edited the list.

Also have Eclat and Plus2S so I'm in TLF and East Anglian Lotus Owners but will be coming it's one of my good old reliable M100's so would like a LEC spot ....

At least you tried, Phil (now sod off and leave my list alone  ).

Let's keep it as a 'simple' list with everything on it for now - as I stated earlier, once things get set in stone we may well break it down into seperate things that people want (ie, Fri evening, Sat convoy, Sat evening, etc) - removing people who have a ticket from elsewhere *may* lead some to think that they are unwelcome on "our" pitch, and that isn't the case at all.

We will be getting 20 tickets (40 people), and will have space for 20 cars on our pitch - I see no reason to preclude anyone who has obtained a ticket from elsewhere from being eligible to park on the grass allocated (unless they're in an Evora!).... if we end up over-subscribed, then a decision will need to be made as to who goes in the general car park, and who doesn't - but that is something for another day.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Can we revamp the list to show the 20 LEC places available and then all the others below? Everybody should be happy then ... Shall I do it or is somebody else doing it?
Phil

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.
Cars: Subaru Forester 2.5XTN, Eclat Riviera, brace of Pacific Blue SE's, Collapso SE, Elan+2S.... and now an Evora
