I'm going to have to concede that I won't be able to make this one, so have amended the most recent copy of the list and removed myself from it:

Ive added in bold to highlight which car and where people are getting their tickets.
i like the idea of color coding
red for the car being used
blue for the place of stay
green if sourced ticket already

with the Mods blessing i will rewrite the list in a easier to follow format with any notes in black at the end of each line.
i dont think the forum html coding allows for tabbing, but its something worth trying when rewriting the list.

I've just phoned Mangreen House Hotel to enquire about breakfast times.....

..... they officially start at 0800 (at weekends), but if we speak to staff upon arrival, they may be able to do something a bit earlier.

The guy I spoke to said that 0730 isn't a problem, but any earlier would need a helpful staff member to be in attendance.

As such, I would prefer 0700 to allow time to get to Dunston hall for the 0800 departure - but may have to scoff whatever I can find and get on the road. It is only half a mile to Dunston, so leaving at 0750 is really the latest i would prefer to be.

Whoever is first to the hotel on Friday, can you bear this in mind please, and see what can be arranged (even if it's only cereals, tea and toast).

Looking at Dunston Hall website breakfast on Saturday starts at 7.00 a.m. (0700 hours)

I've just phoned the Mangreen and they are insisting that breakfast will be 07:30 - 7:45 ish at the earliest "as most of their guests "enjoy a leisurely morning", I did point out that maybe most of the guests will be going to the same event and would also want an early start, but he stated that only one other request has been made so nothing would be changing.

Wasn't aware we were at least 8 people wanting early start, and also was unaware of the Lotus event. I let her know though!

We will also have the option of pre-ordering breakfast the night before to speed up proceedings.

PHEW! Whilst getting the car prepared for tomorrows journey noticed lots of grease all over the front drivers side wheel.
Investigation showed that the CV gaitor clip had broken off. Emergency phone call to Maidstone Sports Cars and they very kindly let me visit them
to have a look at the problem and fixed it immediately without charge. So all back up and running and looking good.

I'm afraid I wasn't so lucky. I made it as far as Stirling (125 miles) before I lost all gears except 5th and had to limp back home. Can you find another good use for the green pass and tickets you are holding in my name? Because I'm afraid I won't be there.

The car is currently in the garage until I feel like looking at what is wrong.
