Quick question on Interior Colour

Are all Elans interior the grey colour on the plastic interior mouldings?

I have seen a few in black is that original?

As I understand it yes . They are all grey . Though on a very late S2 I once owned the door escutcheons were black .
Jim Clark S2 - 1/12. The one with the Yellow spoke wheels . No 613 on dash (pushed in to factory in wrong order 615 on tub)

Also (but I may be wrong) - I think that the S2 had a slightly different shade of grey on the long door/sill lip/trim plates when compared to the SE.

And when it gets old it oxidises and goes lighter grey, so clean it and apply WD40 or cockpit cleaner/back to black / soap or whatever.

The hood header on an SE is black and on an S2 it is grey.
As is the column shroud
