It won’t. The Samco is a better quality product, and therefore would be expected to cost more. Further, I have no idea what the total cost of an “OEM solution” is, including carriage and VAT, so I have no basis for a direct comparison. In the circumstances, I’ll include you out.

For those who are concerned about cashflow: Merlin don’t normally take payment before goods are despatched. And with a 10 week lead time on the hoses, that’s mid to late April. If I need to pay a small deposit, I’m happy to cover that, as long as folks pay up when the hoses arrive.

I hade a look through my file of bills and see I paid £300 including VAT when I got my set from Amber in 2014.
I think they honoured the group buy price at the time.
If memory serves there was a metal joining pipe that was badly corroded and was replaced just in time
At the risk of “grandmother sucking eggs” there is also the heater valve to look at, available from Brandon Motors? (I cant do the link thing)
