ELAN 30 / LEC 20 YRS - CASTLE COMBE 24-26th MAY 2019 LIST

Sadly I won’t be at the Castle Combe event. It’ll be our 37th anniversary, so I’ll be doing 3,000 miles round Europe instead. So much for my diplomatic potential. Here’s the route we’ll be taking in May/June. We won’t be getting as far south as Rome, but we’ll be starting a lot further north than you!

You too John. I met Ann and Dave Excel at Castle Combe last year. They had driven down through France then across to lake como and then stopped off at Castle Combe on their return. They were kind enough to send me lots of hints and tips - Happy to forward on if you like.

Flying back to the UK on Friday. Fly out to Spain on 23rd April. Drive back the Golf (currently with a holed radiator) in July. Therein lies a conundrum, because apart from the Elan requiring a cam belt change and Samco hoses, we're in Spain for CC. However, on Thursday Sarah bought me an early birthday present:
