Tool Kit Bracket Adhesive?

Postby peteoddcar » Tue 26.03.2019, 20:18

The tool kit bracket on my car has come adrift, I have cleaned off the old adhesive.
Anyone have any idea what sealer / adhesive it is ? I don’t want to bolt it down really.
I have acquired the actual Prototype Tool Kit, so I guess it should be installed properly -
And YES really it is the Prototype- but don’t ask me how I got it - sworn to secrecy.
I now have 1.5 tool kits.

We can only give information of top secret knowledge if you show us a picture of what this prototype toolkit looks like .

Alternatively you can wait till someone knows the actual answer as it ain't me !.

Couldn’t possibly show a picture - it’s just my overactive imagination, as if there would be a Prototype Tool Kit still in existence, I doubt there was ever such a thing.

Pretty much everything is stuck together with Betaseal PU adhesive. I did some research into the Sikaflex equivalent for semi/structural panel adhesive.

For the tool kit bracket tiger seal would do the job.
