Looking to replace my windscreen wiperblades, whole blades needed, and wondered what is a good option bearing in mind the screen curvature.

As you might expect the M100 is not generally to be found in catalogues!

.. but then make sure you never drive in heavy rain ... my Eclat has a single wiper and it spends far too long sweeping across the bit I do NOT look through, however fast I set it. Bloody silly idea if you ask me.

I agree with Phil’s dislike of single wiper systems. My wife’s Toyota only has one and it seems over-large and has to work too hard to clear the screen (which it doesn’t do very well).

I have now modified the blade carrier and wiper arm by drilling a hole in it to take a lock-wire after the blade flogged itself to death one rainy night, flew off the arm and exited into the countryside somewhere. As she certainly couldn’t drive with no screen-cleaning or a wiper arm scraping itself over the screen, that required me to go on a rescue mission with a spare blade from my supply in the garage. And I got very wet fitting it.

I bought Jamie's car with single wiper and it works well although it does leave the top of the screen unclear so if you are short in the body and look through the lower half of the screen you are fine or have to get used to it and live with style over function. I can manage fine by adjusting my viewpoint if it rains, car hardly goes out in the rain anyway so can get by for the few times I get caught out. Managed fine for the last 100 miles bringing it home from Scotland in heavy rain just have to learn to cope and easy enough to swop back to double system if I want to.

Does look cool though!!
