I spoke with them last night and said "hey remember us ? we are coming "
As Jim is going to be there first ? she's going to set him up with a corner or straight and then thats us set.
If everyone just pays as normal i will use my £50 for my camping fee.

I said we probably have 10 coming . It may be a bit of a squeeze but hey .... its the fun of camping being able to hear Pinky snore from 10,000 meters .

The noise of Pinky's snoring goes up in direct proportion to the amount of ales consumed, commensurate with the amount of fags smoked. Just keep him off the Old Rosie cider FFS :asleep:

The only thing louder on the campsite is Lotusflasherman Phil's farting after a couple of The Smoking Dug's stag burgers

Oi! - I don't snore...

...I certainly don't drink Ale, or Old Rosie (maybe a couple of Stan Thatchers 'Big Apple', a drop of rum and a cheeky G&T)...

... and being close is handy when I got a little unbalanced on my way to my tent and decided to crawl most of the way after falling over a bit of twig.

However, the down side is the fire risk if Phil decides to make a late night cuppa near any tents.

Hi Guys - after a favour please....

My daughter (Grace) has expressed a desire to come along (mainly because I said she could drive the parade lap - what was I thinking!).

Our choices are we bring 2 tents or alternatively, one of you kind souls with one of those multi-person tents could offer me a place to lay my head while Grace has our tent...

Any offers??

(And any offers to give Grace a place to lay her head will be met with a Dad hard glare.... )

John, you could always speak to the campsite direct - they’re very friendly and know us from previous years. It’s sure they’ll fit you in if at all possible. As a last resort, PM me and I may be able to help.

Afternoon chaps,

Do you know if electric hookup will be available in our corner?
I've managed to book half a day off work so will hopefully be arriving at around 18:00.

Nick,

There are electic points in the bit we had last year...... but some selfish git without the need for hookup pitched his tent in front of them   (I can bring an extra cable if there isn't one within reach of where you end up).

Hi All,

OK, I have just spoken to the campsite and they have told me to turn up and they will arrange the space but they are very tight as the usual area was already booked. Joao, if it helps, I could bring a two pod / 4 man tent so we could share? The tent I am thinking about can also sleep someone in the centre section if the need arose.

Also, is there a list of items that are required, kettles, cups, portable / disposable BBQ's tea, coffee (sugar), water carriers etc, or is it bring your own?

Let me have your thoughts.

Regards

John

Well, John, there’s a Waitrose in Malmesbury within easy staggering distance; open till 9pm. Breakfast is organised on the Saturday morning (see Geoff’s List here,) and on Sunday morning (see my list here). If you’re really short of anything, I live 10 minutes away and can probably help out.

Hi John

And I'll be at the campsite Saturday pm to Sunday in my campervan, so all such stuff on board, if required. Although donations of milk coffee tea might be appreciated if we end up feeding the 5,000!!!!

See you next Thursday eve for usual LEC meet?

Last year's area did have hook-ups...I used one. But we are in a different area to last year (right of the field entrance instead of left) and I understand from the owners there are no hook ups on that side. But she said with extra long leads something may be possible. Bring whatever leads you have (Dave too please).

PS please pretty please leave a space for us to slot in on Saturday :D :D
