No need to register other than for the evening events and commemorative merchandise, but to help plan the grand display of cars in the M100 area next to the track and make sure there is enough space for everyone, it would be useful if you put your name on the list of attendees .

Nope - I think I beat Geoff to it by a couple of minutes (which is "at the same time" by the time you consider having a tab open and typing a reply).....

.... YOU were 3hrs and 20 minutes later..... and even you don't type that slow

But Clemo's in a time warp Dave. His 2 month restoration took the best part of 2 years

Let's do the time warp again

Dear All,

Yes, I still have the Calypso NA as Joao states but it is lovingly referred to as 'the runt' of the litter due to it's currently less than aesthetic appearance. There is a nice war wound of missing paint on the front bumper after a taxi pulled out on me, slammed its brakes on and I nudged the kerb with the bumper avoiding it. I'd want to replace the A-pillar seals (already have them), fit the new weatherstrips (already have them), a black Kuching hardtop is also fitted (the headlining is sagging!), fit a new exhaust downpipe (already have it), fit a new seatbelt (already have it) and give it a damn good polish so the list of jobs is fairly long but it is my daily at the moment so drives and it is great fun. Interestingly, it is an early 1990 ex-factory car having been used at Hethel and I believe Millbrook before being sold in September 1991 as it is registered on a 'G' plate but it should be a 'J' plate. It is confirmed as "Was registered and/or used. Declared manufactured 1990" on the logbook.

Having hyped that up, I feel that if another NA is available then secure that one but if absolutely desperate we'll make arrangements but I don't have tickets and I haven't made any plans as of yet.

regards

John

John reserved as pride of place representing the N/A .
Rather than doing the millions of jobs if you would be kind enough to write up the interesting " Millbrook" history on piece of A4 for everyone to read that would be fantastic . Or fire the info over to us ( and i will pass it over to Pinky to print up ! )

We have a full hand of Elan's .... our work as representing all Model's of Lotus Elan M100s is done. Thank you .
