As a respected landscape gardener I wouldn't have been up those unrestrained ladders. What about health and safety ? And risk assessment ?

I would have dropped that tree in the way on top of that red Japanese crap

PS has this stickers thread gone completely :offtopic:

I just realised: surely the stickers are missing a trick and should say "Elanniversary"!

Or is that too cringeworthy? :D

A Quick Update: Still discussing final details with the supplier, but expecting to have the sticker packs ready for you at CC.

Those not attending CC will be able to order their stickers separately, but will need to pay postage at cost as well.

More information as soon as I have it!

THE STICKERS ARE ORDERED!

They will go on sale for the first time at Castle Combe.

Following much discussion on this forum, they will come as a pack of three stickers:

LEC20Red (Custom).jpg

Dash plaque Colour (Custom).jpg

CatOnSkates (Custom).jpg

They will only be available as a pack - one of each of the three designs, so please don't ask me to split packs at this stage; it's too complicated ;-)

We have 50 packs on order, so it's first come, first served (but I can always order more after the event if necessary).

First dibs will go to those at the Castle Combe event, but those who are unable to attend are welcome to start a list, and I'll happily send out any left over afterwards (buyer pays postage at cost).

The stickers will be £2.75 per pack, which is cost price plus a few pence towards the cost of organising the event and paying our VIP guests expenses.

Yet another reason to come along to Castle Combe - it's still not too late!

Good stuff J

Just one comment though. You will be pee'd off with everyone asking for their 25p back or £2.25 back from their fiver. Might be best to offer them for a straight £3 and stick the extra in the kitty ?

Sorry everyone else but it would only be a quid a sticker and it is going to benefit everyone who has made a big effort to be there. And provide welcome beers for our VIP's after their long talks and signing sessions

And I don't think a £4.00 fee for those in excess of 50 is unreasonable either

Anyone else on the same page ?

PS whatever you decide I will chuck my 25p coppers Geoff's way

Well, I’m happy with that . . . Just so long as you don’t think it entitles you to an extra slice of LEC birthday cake

Jonathan - I will take 5 sets from you and distribute them to my friends in Scotland (and yes, for the uninitiated, I do have more than 1 friend  ) who can't make it to CC

I have just transferred £15 via BACS to your bank a/c. And no, I don't require any change  And no birthday cake either. I gave to watch my 5 pack

For the avoidance of doubt: Unlike DRE, the hole in the kitty tin is one way.

I object, this is clearly ageist and discriminates against all us more mature LECers!

John, you make a valid point - I never even considered that i'd have to pay more because of my age - this is an OUTRAGE

Naturally I meant the very limited edition, and highly exclusive, packs of 50 stickers (perhaps they should be numbered 1 - 50 ?) rather than you OAG's (Old Aged Gits) of which I am one by many years :?

As I’m already receiving pre-orders (and indeed payments), I think we’d better have a list, just so I don’t treat anyone unfairly:

    1. Rambo PAID
    2. Rambo PAID
    3. Rambo PAID
    4. Rambo PAID
    5. Rambo PAID
    6. LRS7
    7. LRS7
    8.
    9.
    10.

If the list fills up quickly enough, I *may* be able to increase the initial order.
