Evening all.
I have been trying to get on this forum for a few days and am finally in. Can I introduce myself, Paul.
So I have been buying plastic bits from Wayne in Bahrain and he said there is a option for the rear lights in the making.
The clear lens has a hole in one and the other is cracked so if can get on this list for a pair it would be amazing.
I am trying to do up a 1992 Red SE and bits have been tricky, only owned the car since September and have been collecting parts so time to start the project. Looking forward to meets next summer when she is looking refreshed rather than the tired old thing I presently have.
Where do I sign up for the light covers etc?
Cheers

Hello All
Attached file relating to the supplier's acknowledgement of receipt and our Order N° for the LEC Group Buy for M100 rear light covers. To me it's self-explanatory, but should you require a translation please do not hesitate to ask me. Production will proceed as planned with delivery expected for August/September 2019.
Many thanks again for your participation in this initial Group Buy.

03/08/2019 - Update
Email sent out to all purchasers. This is just to confirm same and in the event of anyone not having recieved my message - John in particular!
Thought I’d keep you informed on progress. I contacted our supplier at beginning of August before his scheduled closure for summer vacation. As previously mentioned, the new machine was due to arrive late June, but Customs clearance problems delayed matters and it only arrived mid-July. He has assured me that this should not significantly impact production and will be curtailing his holiday in order to become more familiar with the machine/settings etc…
So in actual fact, things are proceeding as planned. I didn’t insist further but I would say September/October (at latest) which was my initial estimate.
As soon as I have more detailed information I’ll let you know.
I’ll post this same message on the LEC site just in case some of you – John in particular – don’t receive it. And Gmail messages sent to Maxime Frenette and Keith Spalding.
Regards
David (M100Turbofr)

Hello
Tom Montanio (Dunnlor) confirmed a while back that he'd no immediate need for the rear covers and wished, if possible, to offer his slot to someone else. Within the last week a fellow American has come forward asking if he could join in on the Group Buy. He arranged matters with Tom - refunding him with his deposit - and now therefore forms part of the initial Group Buy. I'm therefore deleting Tom from the list and replacing him with David (David Schatzle).
Final purchase list as of 25/08/2019
1. Richard K (Richard) 1 pair
2. John_W (John) 1 pair
3. LRS7 (Mark) 1 pair
4. M100turboFR (David) 03/05 1 pair
5. NewLogik (Max F) 1 pair (replaces Brit-Car-Nut (John)
6. Burble61 (Chris A) 1 pair
7.Morris (Denny) 1 pair 04/05
8.danevansgolf (Daniel) 1 unit RH side (driver's side)
9.Sivaslian (Serge) 1 pair.
10. Wayne (Wayne B) 1 unit RH side (driver's side)
11. gwigzee (Mathieu) 1 pair
12. David Schatzle 1 pair (24/08/2019 - formerly Tom Montanio (Dunnlor)
13. Miller (Renaud) 1 pair
14. TD2 (Ian) 1 pair
15. Clemo (Dave) 1 pair
16. Clemo (Dave) 1 additional pair (confirmed on 28/05)
17.French_elans (Damien) 1 pair
18. Muley (Jim) 1 pair
19. Lotus Guy Michael (Michael B) 1 pair (replaces Steve Mathews)
20. Spald04417 (Keith S) 1 pair
21. Anders Thornberg 1 pair (07/06)

Repitition of email sent out today to all purchasers in the initial Group Buy.
Hello All
Supplier has just confirmed that the covers will be available very shortly and is asking how you wish to settle the balance (international bank transfer direct to him, Paypal to me, other). Considering the sums involved, I think I might have problems justifying such large transfers to my Paypal account. Please let me know how you intend to proceed. Once I have this information, I’ll send the addresses to our manufacturer/supplier so that he can arrange delivery. Due to any Brexit-related problems, I have asked him to start delivery with our UK customers (I hope our French, American and Canadian customers will be in agreement).
I will post this same message on the LEC Group Buy Forum.
Regards

Well done. They look perfect. Can’t wait to fit them and then assemble the rest of the car, and maybe get round to respraying her.

Looking very good thank you David .
Thinking out loud do you have any idea on the following :-
What is to stop us getting slapped with an import tax on these?
I take it they are being made in the EU ? Do we even get an import tax on specifically custom made item ?
What will the import customs declaration say ?
Will it have cost written on it ?
Just wondering if we can think of these financial problems in advance .
cheers
clemo

Would be good if they can be expedited to arrive before the 31 October before the UK falls apart. If not I may need my set shipped to Bahrain.

Wayne Hi
Refer to my group email of 08/10 in which I said that I'd asked the supplier to start devleivery with our UK customers inn view of the Brexit upheaval.
As soon as I have an estimated departure/dispatch date I will communicate.
