We are only 30 mins from Duns and only 1 hour to the Edinburgh by pass. Plenty of space and secure off road parking for your M100. Actually it's down a 100m farm track and very quiet save for the noise of a PECO and a Piper

That’s a very kind offer, Mark, thanks. Unfortunately we’ll be staying with family in Edinburgh, so I have to go back and be sociable each evening. If Duns doesn’t work out this time, I am planning a Borders trip next Spring. I drive up in the M100, Pauline flies up and joins me. Then I’ll do Duns, Jamie-the-seal, and revisit Melrose and Dryburgh.

If it’s any consolation, I have Samco hoses, Coolex rad etc tucked up in the garage ready to fit. Just need to get a replacement original header tank and cap - and that’s the winter project.
