The Silverstone event was fantastic, despite the bad weather on Sat/Sun. Good racing, good company and excellent music, particularly Joe Cocker and Kenney Jones, ex Small Faces and The Who.

Yes but I noticed where Jamie's seal finished and your old originals started it was all getting a bit squelchy

A heads up on next year's Silverstone Classics event - Fri. 31 July - 02 Aug. 2020 (provisional)

Tickets can be purchased right now. Super Early Bird tickets cost £99.00 (all 3 days) + £1.95 booking fee until 31/12/19. Then they revert to Early Bird tickets (£105 + booking fee for 3 days) And if you leave booking up until after 31 March it will cost you £125 + booking fee for the 3 days

And if you are rash enough to leave it until after 31 May you just won't get any tickets

The price of tickets quoted above includes for 2 people plus parking infield for your Lotus on the Club Lotus stand for all 3 days

There are plenty of campsites around the circuit (we tend to favour Litchlake Farm which is next to the big bridge and is only a 5-7 minute stroll to Luffield corner) Again, it is better to book up in advance as they will screw an extra £20 out of you if you just turn up on the day as Jim found out last year

Dates now confirmed as Friday 31 July - Sunday 02 August 2020. This is exactly 2 weeks after the Silverstone F1 event which has also been confirmed

Minda has never bee to Jerusalem, I've promised to take her to the Holy land , lets worship spirits, and some ales too .

Silverstone camping was a rip off last year, their £120 extortion has put me off .

I booked that Premier Inn you recommended Scott. A short walk and a tram ride in to Jerusalem for a few swallies of an evening. Fairly sure Minda will like the religious experience

That makes the parade lap, which is a waste of time anyway, cost £69
