The new Jim Clark museum in Duns is open today. I will report back later once I have visited in my NMY

Great news.
I don’t suppose you know when the Club Lotus event will be? August?

Time for another visit to Chateau Rambeau. :-D

I'll try and find out further details later today John. Assuming it ever stops raining :?

All M100 owners always welcome at Shateau Rambeau

Great value. Only £4.50 with a concession. Lasts until 11 April 2020 for multiple visits :smt023

Great architect design, civil engineering etc... Much better than the old display and Jimmy's type 25 and Lotus Cortina on display

Got the T shirt too. Photo's will be added later

We’re up in Reekie for a wedding in November and hoping to take a day out then for a visit. Looking forward to it very much

Jonathon - you're very welcome to call in or stay as long as you replace my Samco hoses

We are only 30 mins from Duns and only 1 hour to the Edinburgh by pass. Plenty of space and secure off road parking for your M100. Actually it's down a 100m farm track and very quiet save for the noise of a PECO and a Piper :burnout:

Fortunately, I am not yellow colour-blind, and these new specs are terrific

That’s a very kind offer, Mark, thanks. Unfortunately we’ll be staying with family in Edinburgh, so I have to go back and be sociable each evening. If Duns doesn’t work out this time, I am planning a Borders trip next Spring. I drive up in the M100, Pauline flies up and joins me. Then I’ll do Duns, Jamie-the-seal, and revisit Melrose and Dryburgh.

If it’s any consolation, I have Samco hoses, Coolex rad etc tucked up in the garage ready to fit. Just need to get a replacement original header tank and cap - and that’s the winter project.

Apologies, wandered way :offtopic: and thanks again.

It's official. Jamie the Seal is now one of Scotland's biggest tourist attractions :D

By the way, how far is Duns from you and how long did it take you to get there? I might have some Lotus B&B business for you. I’ll send you an email.

I've had a word with Jackie Stewart, Dario Franchitti and David Coulthard but basically its glitterati only and not Joe Public . Might be able to get you a marshalls ticket but can't even guarantee that Scott :?
