Just a 'holding' page for now.ORGANISED BY PINKY 4 2021

Well,
Club Lotus have officially anounced that the CC trackday will be 23rd May 2020.....

So - who is going?
What are we doing?
Weekend or just the day?

At the moment, any and all thoughts can be added here (or start a specific topic if you wish to).

Although it has always been a great event (both on and off the track) and a good weekend at and around the venue, I am totally aware that we won't be doing anything approaching last years' event.... that was a bit of a "one-off" for our anniversary.

It would be completely unfair to expect Club Lotus to grant us the same access at the venue that we managed to obtain in 2019, as other 'clubs' will want equal billing as their own 'special years' roll around..... so I am expecting a 'nice' if not 'best' pitch (due to the excellent raport we enjoy with Alan), and after that - we will be 'business as usual' with some members enjoying a day on the track with others chatting and kicking tyres in the car park.

No matter what anyone else wishes to do (but I would rather be in a crew as oposed to Billy-no-mates), I shall be arriving on the Friday, having a few beers in the 'Smoking Dog' pub (I don't know if their festival is on, but I'll be there anyway).......

.....Saturday drive to the track (as a convoy of 1, or more!).....

..... day of chatting and tea brewing.....

...curry in the evening.....

....Sunday - well, who knows?...... anyone up for a nice scenic drive? Lunch somewhere? Or just go home.......

All thoughts appreciated.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

Alan,

Obviously a very select gathering this year...... (I know Jonathan is likely to be there, but as a gentleman, he won't lower the tone from the current list....... in fact, he'll raise it right up!).

Hi Guys, I am up for this as I now own a 92 SE :-)

I was there last year as my mate also owns a BRG M100 SE and a 68 Lotus seven (which I just cannot get in due to my "tall" stature)

looking forward to meeting up

Well. I thoroughly enjoyed last year, but might give this one a miss

My family will be visiting from Godzone, so should stick around for them.

In any case, in 2019 I was with a couple of LECers (or should I say lechers (you know who you are)) who gave it large with a couple of engaging local damsels.

Their beaux were somewhat dischuffed with this ~ we're probably persona non grata in Malmesbury now.

Might pop down for the day, though ..
