I went to Dymchurch on Sunday evening. A lovely evening warm and sunny with not too many people about. I'd love to go again in the Elan but it's been a busy week, next week will be busier and alas the hood hasn't fitted itself.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to pass. A pity as it looks like kite flying weather! :(

I know this is late in the day  I am thinking Rye as the destination, a fair amount of car parks, it's easier for Alan. Quite a few fish n chip shops a better drive down :D for those coming from north kent/essex we could meet at the leeds castle services on the m20 and head for Rye from there , some good a/b roads through the country side just a thought :-D

I am open to going anywhere but like you say maybe a bit late in the day, i don't mind the drive i will probably be coming in the Evora due to not getting home until late and it being dark better lights in the Evora. Do you still have the Elise ?.

Just spoke with Steve on video call and they have been to the Kettle o' Fish restaurant in Rye. We are open to any suggestions, we have to consider availability for seating etc.

Tony, if you want to take up the lead and give us a time to meet at services we can be there. Have to remember though RonR will have to acknowledge any changes too. Then a time and place to meet Alan in Rye.

So if it's easier then, do the original destination but meet up at the services, and take the slightly scenic route to the pub rather than the M20 I am happy to lead. Then on to Dymchurch for chips ( 'im on a budget :-D ) Do we need to go a little earlier than originally planned as the days are shorter ? Alan I sold the Elise last year.

8) I am pleased to say we had a successful and interesting drive through the garden of England down to Dymchurch :burnout:
The M roads were avoided in favour for the A and B roads, (we may have even tried a C road  )
In these very strange times it was a rare trip out, lets hope we can do it again soon, thanks for a great day

Soon as we arrived this lady ran up and took a picture
