Raft suspension bushing parts wanted!

Hi all!


I have almost everything complete now in order to do a full front / rear rebuilt of the suspension, but I still miss some of the dreaded raft bushings.

Could you pretty please have a look in your garage / shed / attic / bedroom (?) if you might still have these in stock, but are not going to use them anymore?
I would be able to replace yours in a later stage (if necessary!), depending the outcome of this topic: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=28114

The parts that I still miss are:

51 Bush, flanged, raft lower rear E100C6001F (2pc.)
62 TopHat' Insert TCA Strut to Raft A100C0030H (4pc)

It's preventing me from taking on this job, although it is very, very necessary! (as in: MOT failure next year)
I would like to avoid poly bushings all together, as I am quite pleased with the original ones

I was in this situation 2 years ago and, like you, I didn’t want poly. I managed to get all the raft bushes in OEM rubber (all from SJs) but some of the other bushes were no longer available, so I had to accept poly Hopefully Simon_P’s group buy will come to fruition and I can replace the poly bushes at a later date (although I have to say I don’t notice the difference on my S2 - but that could just be down to me )

SJ's handles a rather steep shipping cost, so I asked If they can ship in an envelope to shave a few pennies off

Now only 1 more part to find!!

I hate to do a job twice, so I'll spend some more time on hunting down this last rubber as well.
If they are truly unobtanium, then poly it is I'm afraid...

Did anyone notice that parts 61 (front) and 65 (rear) are the same?

Anyway, the parts are unavailable, but I have found 4, so I now need to source 4 extra ones of those as well...

Hi Hj..how did you get on?.... I've been able to source both : 51 Bush, flanged, raft lower rear E100C6001F (2pc.) & 61 Bush, Lower Wishbone E100C6002F (2pc.)
from SJs... although 61 is obsolete and there's a suggested replacement. I'm sure you already are aware.

I can't find this one though:. 62 TopHat' Insert TCA Strut to Raft A100C0030H (4pc).. where did you get yours from...?? cheers Mike
