Slight development since my last post. Our supplier has just finished completing our 1st Group Buy and now wishes to honour the long outstanding order passed by the Alpine A610 V6 GTA buyer's group (it uses the same rear light covers). This will result in a delay of around 1 month before he accepts another order from our group. The Covid pandemic doesn't help matters either. So by early March I'll be requesting you to make a firm purchase commitment by making a deposit. To date we have 7 pairs (perhaps 8 with Madbilly). To Matt Dovey: Matt please confirm your requirements 1 pair? Should this delay not suit you, then you're naturally free to pull out.
While I'm on here, perhaps you could confirm which finish you require - original amber tint or clear transparent.

Hi all
N.B. I have decided against using a mailing list to contact all buyers simultaneously as replies only arrive in dribs and drabs, thereby making it difficult to follow and to know whether my message has indeed been received. Therefore would you please consult LEC in order to obtain the latest information. I will of course contact you individually in order to tell you to consult the appropriate LEC Group Buy post, when required.

Today I received the shipment costs pertaining to the M100 Rear Light Covers for all EU and non-EU countries. Please consult the costs according to the country of destination below.

With respect to the United Kingdom and the post-Brexit Customs situation, our supplier has confirmed that a status quo position has been preserved in the meantime. Therefore, for the time being, there are no new taxes/duties applicable to the lenses. Should the situation change, however, any additional duties/taxes will be borne by our supplier directly, i.e. if there is an increase in import taxes/duties, you – the buyers – will not have to pay any additional costs.

Another difference compared to previous Group Buys is that this time there is no insurance involved. The supplier undertakes to replace any parts which arrive damaged and/or broken. Apparently insurance was far too complicated and involved too many conditions/constraints. He has therefore decided against. This means that you do not have to pay insurance.

The transport costs are net (VAT inclusive) for the dispatch of a pair of rear light covers.
United Kingdom 32,00€ (6) David Amdor, Tim Haskins, Matt Dovey, Paul Ellis, Emlyn Taylor and Robert Hagen. Therefore 480,00€ per pair plus 32,00€ equals total of 512,00€ (VAT inclusive)

Canada 105,00€ (1) Paul Richards Therefore 480,00€ plus 105,00€ equals total of 585,00€ (VAT inclusive).

Australia 105,00€ (1) Robert Verhey Therefore 480,00€ plus 105,00€ equals total of 585,00€ (VAT inclusive). Robert See my other message to you regarding GST duties.

The delivery time for the rear light covers will be approximately 3 months as from date of order confirmation. Raw material supply, mould preparation and production time are all to be taken into account. A deposit (purchase commitment on your part) of 120,00€ will be requested very shortly. The balance will be due once the parts are manufactured and ready for dispatch. Don’t hesitate should you require additional info. Keep an eye on LEC for developments and information.
