Centre slider replacement

I think my passenger door center slider is about to give up as it stops when closing the window as the rear isn't closing as fast as the front. I know how to strip the door and get the motor out and have the slider and butterfly to replace if needed but wondered if I will need to re-spool the motor when I release the cables to swap the slider or if its more simple and they will stay in place. I know it can be a pig to get the cables onto the pulleys and I need 3 hands.

It is more simple
You'll see it when you have the assembly in your hands. Keep the tension on the cables and you can replace the center slider without rewinding the cable.
Replace all sliders and grease while you are in there!

Thank HJ2 was thinking of trying to clamp them lightly to stop them unravelling

That’s what I did.
There is a spring and with a little elbow grease you can get the cable ends in the center slider replacement!

Sorry, I could not find the complete slider assembly,
But here is the winder assembly:

But it is pretty straight forward once you have everything in front of you.
