A quick question on logistics......
..... I assume that each table will make it's own payment, as a 'large bill' will take some sorting out with everyone ordering from the main menu.
Even so, with Covid 'restrictions', are they happy to take cash, or will they expect one person from the table to make a card payment?
..... if that is the case, will that 'designated payee' (Smiffy!) be willing to take cash, or able to take card, or expect payment via EBT?
(I ask purely as Devils Advocate as I am happy to use my card, and take payment by Cash, EBT or Japanese Yen).
Hi Dave
I’ve not had the discussion, but I have been down there several times recently for takeaways, and they are definitely encouraging card payments. As a personal opinion, I think there will need to be a volunteer on each table who actually pays the bill and collects 1/6 of the balance from each table member.
Given that the tables won’t necessarily consist of those listed above for each table, I think all we can do is make the situation known to those who are coming, and encourage folks to pay up promptly afterwards, preferably electronically.
Mind you, if we have a police officer on one table, a magistrate on the second table, and an honest and upright Gloucestershire pensioner on the third table - what can possibly go wrong
