Hi all

You have all expressed the wish to go ahead with this 2nd Group Buy for the M100 rear light covers. Many thanks for your interest and support.

As already stated, a deposit of 120€ is required by our supplier as a firm purchase commitment on your part. The balance (480€ -120€ = 360€ plus corresponding transport costs) will be due at time of delivery (in this case around 3 months).

If you’re in agreement, we can confirm our order and start paying this deposit. The means by which you transfer payment are entirely your concern. The majority of you suggested Paypal but other options are available to you. Namely:

You can pay the sum due (initial deposit) directly in Euros to our supplier’s Paypal account. This of course would not be via the Friends & Family Paypal option so you would probably have Paypal charges to pay ( to be verified!).

You can transfer the sum (initial deposit) in Euros via your bank directly to our supplier’s French Euro bank account. I can give you the relevant bank information (RIB IBAN etc).

You can do a GBP (Pounds Sterling) bank transfer for the initial deposit directly to our supplier’s GBP account. I can give you the relevant bank information (RIB GBP Ibanfirst).

Alternatively, you can pay the sum due (initial deposit) directly to me in Euros to my Paypal account via the Friends & Family Paypal option. In principle no Paypal charges. The funds would then be retransferred by me to our supplier’s account.

BUT you must ensure that the correct Euro amount is transferred namely in this case 120,00€, as I naturally cannot be expected to pay any shortages/discrepancies.

N.B. Please note that any additional charges/costs (exchange rate differences) arising from a bank transfer are to be borne by yourself.

Status on 10/03/2021 : The required deposit has been received from all buyers, except one. Would Tim Haskins please reply to my numerous reminders and transfer the deposit. The quicker it's done, the quicker I can confirm our order and the quicker production can get underway. The said deposits - a firm purchase commitment on your part - will be retransferred to our Supplier and allocated to our 2nd LEC Purchase Order. Delivery, as already stated, will be around three (3) months. I'll endeavour to keep you posted, so keep an eye on this section. Otherwise via email.

Hi all ,
Just a message to pass on a worthy note regarding this rear light run by David M100TURBOFR
For David it has not been an easy thing to put together. Many have tried in the past and failed. He's had Brexit ,Multiple Covid lockdowns , the odd stroppy customer (one of which was was me BTW for which i can only apologise) and the Alpine club all to contend with . Not that the Alpine club are any issue with us , far from it .Any car club is a friend of ours , but they too were in the Que for lights.
And it is only when something goes a little wrong , do we realise how the "back up service" really works. I had a broken light and without hesitation David was on the case. No passing of buck to the delivery company or making insurance claims .Excellent communications all the way through. I doth my cap to his efforts, dedication and professionalism .

Before i sign off , just to let you know how much of an asset this group buy is . ( heres hoping it never happens ) but recently an Elan was written off because the rear lights were broken in an accident. This was because rear lights are no longer available from source ( renault or Lotus) . After all the love care and attention we put into our cars a spare set of lights would be a sound investment.
