CLUTCH/GEARBOX NOISE IN NEUTRAL

Postby steve411 » Sun 29.08.2021, 08:57

Hi to the forum! I am experience a whinning/rattle noise from the gearbox aeria in neutral, only noticable in my garage which eliminates when i depress(push down) the clutch pedal. I am thinking that maybe the input shaft bearing going out, or the throw out bearing but maybe is just the neutral gear rattling syndrome, or it is clutch plate fault (clutch plate springs become lose). I also feel my clutch pedal a little heavy..From a post here i read that the gearbox side of the clutch can be noisy. The car has just 39.000km
