Dash Cleaning

The dash on my Elan is very, very grubby.

Can anyone suggest a good cleaning product that isn’t too messy?

I used the cheapest dash and trim cleaner from Halfords and also their carpet and upholstery cleaner (comes in a green bottle) only a couple of quid each and both worked fine and don't leave the surface shiny or sticky.

I just use Silicon Lubricant. Spray some on a cloth and give it a rub. Perfect!

Trevor, does that leave a shine? That is something I want to avoid.

Washing up liquid in water and a cloth.

Or Autoglym interior shampoo buffed with a cloth. If you want it looking prepared, follow up with Autoglym vinyl and rubber care - buff it off to kill the shine.

Im sure that others are just as good but I stick to Autoglym as it's what I'm used to and... There’s never been a dull Aston Martin!
