3D print the orange door lock clips?

The orange door lock clips were fitted to VN, VP, VR and VS Holden Commodores, but Holden dealers no longer stock them. The GM part number draws a blank here, so maybe they didn’t use the same number down under?

They are being sold secondhand at greedy bugger prices.

Currently on Ozzie eBay:
One USED VN VP VR VS Holden Commodore orange door knob & retainer clip genuine $19.80 free postage.
That’s very nearly £11!

And on Ozzie Gumtree:
Genuine Holden door lock snibs for VN - VS .
Full set which includes 4 surrounds , 4 pins with securing clip. Choice of colour $250 inc postage.
Individual Pin and clip $45 inc postage. (Almost £25).
Surrounds only $35 each inc postage.
The picture shows that they all look VERY secondhand, and he’s not offering the orange clip separately.

I know that they are still available at SJ Sportscars (for $3), but since my son has just bought a fancy 3D printer, I am wondering if anybody has mapped them and created the instructions for 3D printing?

First, I have now realised that my orange door lock clips were actually red once upon a time!

Judging by the number of people that read my posts, there is not much interest in 3D printings these clips, but since my son Keir produced two designs which I then tested, as a result there is now a third design available to you to download should you wish.

THIS HAS YET TO BE TESTED but since only the visible face of the clip has been changed from the tested version there really is no reason to suppose that it work not work.

And I have attached a PDF file that will hopefully help people with their red/orange door clips even if they have no interest in 3D printing the part.
