Just to let you all know I have sent our menu choices off to the H&C. If you want to make changes you'll have to call H&C direct.

In view of the C19 situation I vote, with regret, to cancel the H&C lunch. Deirdre and I had our booster yesterday which will come into full effect in 10 days time

Jim and Jen don't want to jeopardize their trip to NZ and will not be coming. I have to say with what they say about this new variant, I do feel more vulnerable than ever before.

Please can I have your views as soon as possible

For those who want to attend, Jim has kindly offered to set up a zoom meeting. Depending on the numbers we may have to go to Google meet but will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Please register your interest below.

I have been trying to post without success so not sure if this will go-
It was great to catch up with everyone in November.
I was due my booster on the 19th November and was fine. Began to feel under the weather over the weekend and put it down to the booster
Felt worse on the Sunday so did a lateral flow-positive! This was confirmed by a PCR on the Monday.
Took to my bed self isolating for 8 days and was quite ill.No taste or smell whatsoever and strange flu like symptoms.
Now 3 weeks later I am beginning to feel like my old self but still have waves of fatigue, little taste and I thoroughly recommend avoiding COVID if you possibly can!
Ness, who was with me 24hrs a day until I had to self isolate, did not get it or test positive!
Anyway hope you all have as good a Christmas as possible in the circumstances and see you in the New Year

Sorry, forgot to say I could also do from 6.30pm onwards, if that's more convenient for others.

Happy new year all. I take it that there isn't going to be a meet this Wednesday, especially as we haven't got a regular venue yet! Has anyone got any ideas? Dave IOW suggested the Refrectory at Godalming which looks quite good with adequate parking. Does anyone want to try it out this Wednesday?

Hi all,Happy New Year!
Sadly I will not be there this Wednesday ☹️ The weather/ferry/dark evening v run out/meeting good friends equation is coming down on the staying in by the fire side!
Will be along later in the spring.
