For meetings other than those listed above, camping is Free of Charge. There are toilets/water supply available (permanent building at Allard Corner and Campbell/Cobb/Segrave Complex).

For anyone that may want to make a weekend of it and wants to camp this is the info from the Thruxton site but i would contact them to check first.

I have done as you suggested, and contacted them.....

..... there are NO camping facilities available for the weekend of "our" event - but the helpful lady has sent me a list of local B&B type places (which are pretty much as per the list on the Thruxton website.

Google tells me that it is a 195 mile, 3hr 45 drive for me......

...... I would prefer NOT to have to leave home at 0500 to get there for setting up, so *may* look at staying local.

That said, I also don't want to be billy-no-mates for Saturday/Sunday evening, so is anyone else planning to stop over for one (or both) nights?

If so, have you booked anything, or not? B&B? Hotel? Campsite?

The Hatchet is only showing a family room available for the Saturday night, at £105......

..... Booking.com shows The White Horse (0.7 miles from Thruxton) at £75, but no breakfast.....

I'm off to the IOW tomorrow for the weekend, so will pick this up next week when I'm home. (But you can do some more digging if you want to!).

FWIW, John from Hendy posted this on TLF in response to questions from Keith

Hi Exeterjeep,

The showground will open at 8.30 for display cars to arrive and get settled, have some breakfast etc before the show opens to the public at 10.00am. Once the public are ‘in’ we’d prefer minimal vehicle movements, but you’re free to arrive and leave as you please.

The Exeter and Poole team will be joining us on the day, as will an Emira from Hethel, accompanied by ‘Mr Lotus’ Scott Walker.

I believe the first Paul Swift stunt show (which is epic if you haven’t seen his work before) is at 10.30am so well worth being in by then!

I have booked on the TLF stand. Hope to meet a few other M100 owners around.

Anyone starting near Exeter on Sunday am. Will probably meet with another TLF'er at Exeter services - not sure what time yet.

John Hendy Eastleigh also said .
Plus we club stands from LDC and Club Lotus, so there’s going to be plenty of Lotus there!

I had forgotten all about this. I have other things going on (none bad) & I can't do everything, so I'll give this a miss.

Now I'm confused! Can't we print our own tickets, particularly if rip isn't coming so it all falls on tb10... and Hendy have always published Gates Open 08:30.

Further to my last post .. I just searched my emails for "Hendy" and found I was emailed by return (11th April for me) with "Your Ticket" - "Please bring a copy of this ticket on the day."

So mine is now printed ... only problem is whilst cleaning up the rear window in the hood of my M100 I found the sewing had rotted and "zzzzztt" = no window in hood. Hand sewing it back is a long tedious project, on hold in this heat. So I'll be coming in the Evora with aircon on Full Cool. Carol at Hendy tells me that won't be a problem ..

Not unless the M25 goes tits up on the southern section,(it's a 50/50 gamble at the best of times, so with all those Sunday drivers  ) :banghead:

Hood up and no windows might be the coolest option ... I bet it flaps at speed though. Won't be very secure overnight at the hotel I've booked though... and the Evora is much less effort .. but you know that..
