I'll be up for the 4th, hopefully I'll be back on the road by then.
Just one thing, the Anchor was pretty busy last time, I would imagine it would be worse on a Friday night, might be tricky getting in...

Ok for me but I’ll not eat - just a natter and a pint.

Just to throw in another variable / suggestion because the Anchor will be busy and the car park isn’t huge there’s the Hurdlemakers Arms just up the road generally quieter and a larger car park.
I havent been there this year but the reports are still good Triumph Sports Six meet there on a Thursday(?) once a month.
I emailed they would be happy to take us - not trying to HiJack the event so please don’t take offence. I’ll be just as happy with the Anchor.

Hurdlemakers does nice food whenever I’ve been in and probably will be quieter on a Friday. Happy to do either.

Me and the Mrs going, now cars good to go. As far as I can tell the FB group are still going to the Anchor, I don't know whether some sort of tie up needs to happen?

We should all be going here https://www.greeneking.co.uk/pubs/essex ... in/find-us
Loads of parking, easy to get to, and they are well used to car club meets 8)
The Anchor and hurdlers have small car parks :smt102

I suppose we could try and get somewhere more central in Essex to be fair to all travel wise, any suggestions ?
I'm more than happy to go anywhere on the 4th :burnout:
