Water in the sill

Postby johnj » Sun 31.12.2023, 19:27

Happy New Year All

It's finally stopped raining so I would reset my driver side A panel. I took out the old jacknut and thought I saw a reflection. I took over a pint of water out of the sill. Has anyone any ideas how the water gets into the sill.

Drips off either end of the super soaky sponge that Lotus stuck to the front of the hood.

Happy new year. ;-)

The water can sit between the door seal and the cill kick plate and can overflow into the footwell. There is a supplementry section of the manual that discusses this and other leaks.
