Wonder if I can trouble you for some help?
Removed my drivers seat to upgrade the cover and now having put the seat back into the car, it will only move forward around 2 inches from the furthest back position.
The ‘combs’ that hold the seat in position are moving in and out freely hence being able to move the seat by a small margin.
The problem is now I can’t move the seat forward enough to access the rear fixings bolts in order to remove the seat and have a better look.
Has anyone else experienced this? It has the feeling that it is being held by something metal ( you can hear metal to metal when pushing forward with some force).

i think a small mirror and a strong light source is your best friend for this one.
it will be something mechanical. and easy to spot with those tools.
something like this.

Many thanks. It gave me the idea to put my phone camera under and take some photos!
Turns out the inner rear bolt, although it felt tight wasn’t fully down and it allowed the seat to go back but wouldn’t pass going forwards! Once I managed to get the seat past the bolt and few string turns with the ratchet had it properly in and all sorted.
