Seat back adjustment

Postby mikecg » Mon 02.06.2025, 19:37

My drivers seat has suddenly stopped being able to be adjusted. The large round wheel simply spins without any adjustment to the seat angle. I could not find anything on this mechanism in my work shop manual.
Anybody had something similar and solved it?

Yeah, you pop off the center plastic and tighten up the C clip so it engages the plastic. Great video on it here

All fixed, it appeared that the 10mm bolt on the knob was loose so that the washer with the flats had come away from its slot in the knob. Fiddly but easy to fix and now working again.
